Shipping Policy (Print-on-Demand / Made-to-Order)

How shipping works

All items sold by Local Only Supply are made to order and shipped directly from our print-on-demand production partners. This means each product is printed, packaged, and shipped after you place your order (we do not keep inventory on hand).

Order processing and production time

Because products are made to order, most orders require production time before they ship.

  • Typical production time: 2–7 business days

  • Production times can be longer during peak periods (e.g., holidays) or when certain sizes/colors are temporarily backordered.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping time (delivery estimates)

Shipping time begins after production is complete and your order has shipped.

Delivery time depends on your shipping address, carrier performance, and which production facility fulfills your item.

  • Typical shipping time: 2–8 business days (varies by destination and shipping method)

  • Remote areas may take longer.

Estimated delivery = production time + shipping time.
All delivery dates shown at checkout (or in tracking) are estimates, not guarantees.

Shipping rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and vary based on:

  • the item(s) in your order (weight/size),

  • your shipping address,

  • the production facility that fulfills your product,

  • the shipping method available for that product and destination.

Some orders may include products produced in different facilities, which can affect shipping costs.

Multiple items and split shipments

If you order multiple items:

  • Items may be produced at different facilities (even within the same order).

  • Your order may arrive in multiple packages with separate tracking numbers.

  • Packages may arrive on different days.

Tracking

When available, tracking links are provided by email once your item ships. Tracking updates can take 24–48 hours to appear after the label is created.

Address accuracy and delivery issues

Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting your order.

If an order is returned to the sender due to an incorrect/incomplete address, or if delivery fails due to recipient error, you may be responsible for:

  • reshipping costs, and/or

  • replacement costs (because items are made to order).

Customs, duties, and taxes (international orders)

For international shipments, customers may be responsible for customs fees, import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These fees are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated at checkout.

Lost, delayed, or damaged packages

If your package appears delayed, please allow extra time for carrier transit, especially during peak seasons.

If your package is marked delivered but you can’t locate it:

  • check around your delivery location and with household members/neighbors, and

  • contact the carrier with your tracking number.

If your order arrives damaged or there is a printing/production issue, contact us within 30 days of delivery with:

  • your order number, and

  • clear photos of the issue (including packaging, if damaged).

We will work with our production partner to resolve eligible issues with a replacement or refund as appropriate.
